Ernie Barnes’ “Sugar Shack” has followed me for the last year or so. His painting inspired this painting, which inspired a mural, which will be inspiration for a third work! This painting is the base of an illustration by Dare Coulter from Michelle Lanier’s “My N.C. from A to Z.”
